RETURNS + EXCHANGE POLICY

For any online or pop-up purchase outside of Lafayette, LA, please contact support@shopembark.com for return or exchange requests. Be sure to include your name, address, order number, and reason for return or exchange and we will be happy to assist.

Approved returns will be credited for the purchase price of your item. We do not refund shipping charges unless the item sent was an error. We cannot accept any returns or exchanges for jewelry purchased anywhere other than www.shopembark.com. Exchange or return shipping + insurance is the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for any and all shipping charges on any undeliverable packages.

Exchanges and returns are only accepted on unworn, unaltered items and returned in original packaging. Any resized, engraved, damaged, altered or item showing signs of wear are not accepted for return.

All custom items (i.e. initials, names, made to order pieces) are final sale and may not be exchanged or returned.

We always want to keep our customers happy! If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch to begin the return process.

Items purchased within 7 days from the date you receive your order purchased on www.shopembark.com and shipped to a U.S. address, at one of our events, or in our showroom may be returned for a full refund. Store credit will be issued to any items returned within 30 days of receiving your order. If more than 30 days have elapsed since your purchase, we are not able to offer a refund or exchange.

ORDERS

Products that are in stock at our showroom will be available for immediate ship. These items will say "ADD TO CART" when purchasing.

Pre-order products are currently not in stock in our showroom, however, they are readily available to be sourced. Please allow 1-3 weeks from purchase for delivery on all pre-order items. To confirm lead times on a specific product, please email our team. 

So sorry to hear you have changed your mind! We are happy to cancel your order within 24 hours after your order was placed. Customized Orders cannot be canceled once they have been put into production. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact support@shopembark.com and provide your name, address, order number, and reason for cancellation.

U.S. shipments are generally processed within 2 business days of your order if the item is in stock. You should receive an email with tracking info once your package ships, however, if you think your package is lost or have any questions, we are always available via phone or email. We love to help!

All orders will be processed as they are received. If an item is sold out, a team member from EMBARK will contact you via email or phone with an estimated delivery date. Estimated delivery dates for items not currently in stock can range from 1-8 weeks.

Packages are delivered via UPS, USPS, or FedEx (within the 48 contiguous United States) for any online purchases.

If an order is sent back to EMBARK Fine Jewelry due to an insufficient or incorrect address, we will contact you. If there is no response, the order will be canceled and refunded minus the cost of shipping and a $15 restocking fee. If you would like to have the order reshipped, you will be responsible for shipping cost again.

PRODUCTS

Our demi-fine jewelry is made of 925 Sterling Silver with 14K Gold or Rhodium plating. Our waterproof collection is made from gold PVD plating over stainless steel making it resistant to corrosion from water and regular wear. All of our pieces are always nickel and brass-free, as well as, hypoallergenic!

We align with vendors who have the same values as we do, meaning they only source stones in the utmost earth-friendly practices and treat their miners and stone cutters with respect and fair pay. We use recycled gold and platinum in all our custom pieces and as much as we can with our fine jewelry. Follow the link to learn more about the Kimberly Process Act and SCS Certified Recycled Metals

Our jewelry is made with love and can be worn daily, however, it should be handled with care!

To ensure longevity, we recommend the following:

- Remove all demi-fine jewelry before showering, swimming, and sweating. Our waterproof & fine jewelry can handle those activities, but should still be handled with care.

- Rings should be removed before exercising and any other strenuous activity using your hands.

- Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray on first, then your jewelry.

- Store your chain jewelry in your EMBARK pouch with the clasp left out to prevent tangling.  

- Clean your fine jewelry with our bestselling jewelry cleaning products, otherwise, warm water, mild soap and a delicate toothbrush will do the trick! 

Please be aware that due to the unique nature of the materials used - colors, shapes, and sizes may vary slightly from the images and descriptions. 

Embark is not responsible for any damages after 60 days.

Our standard diamond quality in all of our fine jewelry pieces unless otherwise noted are natural diamonds G-H/SI1. We will always work with you to find the best quality while taking into consideration your preferences and budget.

We only work with vendors that source conflict free diamonds and are held to the highest standards under the Kimberly Act. We would love to speak with you more on this topic and discuss all diamond options including antique diamonds, Canadian Diamonds, and lab grown diamonds, which are all responsible choices and have their own pros and cons. Set up a Time now

We pride ourselves on offering quality craftsmanship products. All jewelry is guaranteed on defects in material and workmanship for a period of 60 days from delivery. Normal wear and tear, improper care, or damage resulting from misuse will void the warranty. Please contact support@shopembark.com to initiate your repair. There may be a fee for a repair dependent on whether the repair is needed due to misuse.

We want you to love your piece and wear it for many days to come. However, after 60 days, we are happy to have your piece repaired with a fee associated. Please contact us for an initial estimate at support@shopembark.com. Note the pieces must have been purchased directly from www.shopembark.com and alterations cannot have been previously performed by any other jeweler.

CUSTOM + REDESIGN WORK

Usually 4-10 weeks to complete from the first appointment, depending on the design and style of the item.  We promise the wait is well worth it!

We will do our best to get you a quote in a timely manner however it depends on many factors like metal quality, gemstones, weight, detail, etc. We are able to work within many different budgets! Get in touch now to start the process.

We will work closely together to build the perfect piece for you or your loved one. Before receiving the final product, you have the opportunity to view CAD images and a wax sample.

All custom projects are final sale, but our detailed process is in place to ensure you will love the finished product. If necessary, minor adjustments to the final product are doable, based on the style. 

Payment

In person at our showroom and events, we take cash, ACH, credit card, Venmo, and PayPal.

Online we take all major forms of credit card payment.

Taxes are charged depending on where you live and whether we have reached nexus in your area.

Ear Piercings

Ear piercing costs $30 per piercing location. For example, if you are piercing both ears once, it would be $60 for the piercing service. The price of the earrings is separate and ranges in price with our Demi-Fine studs from $15 to higher with our Fine-Jewelry studs.

Our medically trained individuals only pierce with a sterile single use hollow needle. This is much safer and heals better then with a piercing gun.

We currently offer piercing service to ages 6+ with a parent present up to age 18.

Anywhere on the lobe and helix!

Depending on the placement of the piercing determines the time needed to proper heal. The lobe usually takes 6-8 weeks and as you go higher up on your ear the longer it will take, upto a year in some areas.

We offer a vast selection of fine and demi-fine studs to choose from. We do not pierce with hoops or screw-backs. All of our studs are hypoallergenic and safe to pierce with. Studs must be purchased from Embark.

Permanent Jewelry

The price of permanent jewelry varies depending on the selected chain and its length. For a 7-inch bracelet, prices start at $90 for 14K solid gold, while our sterling silver chain starts at $35. Please note that these prices are subject to change based on the required chain length. We also offer bezel gemstones and diamonds to add to your chain. Click here for more info and pricing.

We only offer 14k solid gold and sterling silver chain. We feel this is the best option since it will be worn all the time and for an extended period.

We are happy to reattach your chain once for free and for a charge of $25 each time there after. Be sure to save the chain in a safe place until you can come back in to see us. Schedule your time slot here.

If you need to remove your permanent chain for medical or sport reasons, try to cut the chain right where it is soldered together at the small jump ring. If you need help removing, stop by our showroom and we'd be happy to assist!

We offer this service in our showroom during specific times. You can check our availability and schedule your spot here. The process from picking your chain and any extras to having it attached usually takes no longer than 20 minutes. It's a great idea to do with your bestie or momma!
