Our Story
Embark began during the middle of COVID, when three friends — Erin Judice, Katie Kennedy, and Michelle Robertson decided Lafayette deserved a fresh take on fine jewelry. What started as pop-ups, e-commerce, and private appointments around Katie's dining room table has grown into two beautiful showrooms in Lafayette and Baton Rouge, plus a growing online community.
Embark blend the sophistication of a fine jewelry store with the warmth of a neighborhood shop. From fine and demi-fine pieces to custom engagement rings, heirloom redesigns, permanent jewelry, and luxury hollow-needle ear piercings by medical professionals, everything we do is designed to feel approachable, personal, and celebratory.
Embark creates jewelry for where life takes you- designed to be worn through everyday moments and meaningful milestones. Big days. Every days. And all the days in between.
Katie Kennedy
CO-OWNER
Katie is a ray of light and loves people. Her background in retail (where the customer always comes first) and understanding consumer buying behavior brings a multitude of strengths to the table. Not to mention, the girl loves digging into data and built Embark's website herself. She's married to her middle school crush and has 3 teenagers- 1 girl and twin boys.
Erin Judice
CO-OWNER
Erin is a ball of positivity and has a background in Marketing & PR (she's also known as an idea machine and the Embark visionary). After working for various companies in their marketing and branding departments (think: Food, Retail, and wholesale industries), she now uses those many fresh ideas to grow Embark across both Louisiana and Texas markets. Erin also has 4 beautiful daughters and helps run the business while living in The Woodlands, TX.
Michelle Robertson
CO-OWNER
Michelle is the strategist of the group, but also has a background in Design and Merchandising. After working in New York for a few fashion brands, she started a styling business back home before finding her love of fine jewelry and design. Her favorite part of Embark is working one on one with customers to create their dream piece of jewelry.
She and her husband are proud parents to a sweet little boy, Jude!
